The Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program is offering a free education series for returning Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans, military family members, clinicians and community members who want to learn more about the "invisible wounds of war" and veterans health.
Held every Tuesday from 4:30 PM – 5:15 PM
Location is the Home Base clinic at 101 Merrimac Street, 2nd floor Boston, MA
Topics include:
Coping with the stress of coming home. (1st Tuesday) Home Base services for veterans and families (2nd Tuesday) Useful skills: healthy sleep habits; relaxation exercises, anger management (3rd Tuesday) Understanding brain changes that happen with combat stress and Traumatic Brain Injury (4th Tuesday)
Attend one or all four sessions. Parking and light refreshments provided.
